1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website places on your device. Similar technologies (local storage, pixel tags, fingerprinting) work in comparable ways. They let websites remember things, count visitors, and run features. Some are necessary; many are not.
2. Our approach
We try to keep this simple:
- We only set strictly necessary cookies by default. They are required for the site to work.
- If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies, they will be off by default and only run after you give your active, opt-in consent through a banner where declining is as easy as accepting.
- We do not use third-party advertising, behavioural tracking, or cross-site profiling.
- We respect
Global Privacy Controlsignals where they apply.
3. Categories we use
3.1 Strictly necessary (always on)
These cookies are required for basic site functionality and security. Under Danish law (Cookiebekendtgørelsen § 3, stk. 2), they do not require consent. Without them the site won't function.
3.2 Analytics (off by default)
If we add analytics in the future to understand visitor patterns, we will use a privacy-respecting tool with IP anonymisation, no cross-site tracking, and EU-only data hosting. They will only run after explicit opt-in.
3.3 Marketing (we don't use these)
This site does not use marketing or advertising cookies. There is no remarketing pixel, no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads conversion tag.
4. The actual cookies
Here is the complete list as of {TODAY}:
| Name | Purpose | Provider | Lifespan | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
uwise_consent_v1 | Stores your cookie preferences (which categories you have accepted or rejected) so we can respect them on future visits | Uwise Agency (first-party) | Persistent, until you clear browser data or change preferences | Strictly necessary |
5. Manage your choices
You may review and change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the Cookies button in the bottom-right corner of any page on this site. Doing so opens our preferences panel, where you can:
- Accept all cookie categories with a single action.
- Reject all non-essential categories with a single action — the reject button is given equal visual prominence to the accept button, in line with EDPB Guidelines 03/2022 on deceptive design patterns.
- Choose category by category (analytics, marketing, etc.) using individual toggles.
- Withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent.
Your choices are stored locally in your browser. If you clear your browser data, the preferences panel will reappear on your next visit. If we introduce a new cookie category in the future, we will request fresh consent rather than relying on previous choices.
6. Browser controls
Independently of any consent banner, you can manage cookies in your browser:
Note: blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
7. Changes
If we change how we use cookies, we will update this page and, where required, ask for fresh consent. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
8. Contact
